  Published November 2025. S2000M Issue 8.0 is part of the 2025 block release of the S-Series IPS specifications. It includes the exchange of configuration management data in Chapter 1 (Provisioning) as well as the exchange in xml-format of codification messages (codification request and codification response). The Chapter 3 (Material Supply) includes enhanced examples and general data templates for the various transactions.

  Issue 8.0 also complies with the latest Common Data Model (CDM) and xsd schemas. It further includes various updates and changes as detailed under "Highlights" in the introduction of this Issue 8.0.
