Global adoption

The S-Series specifications have experienced remarkable international growth, transitioning from a European initiative to a global standard embraced by nations worldwide. Significant milestones, such as MOU signings with ATA (for S1000D only) and AIA, have emphasized its expanding reach and influence on the US and Civil Aviation communities.

Recent inclusions of countries, including Canada, Australia, South Korea, and Japan have further solidified its position. In 2024, the S-Series achieved significant global recognition, being included in NATO's guidance for integrated life cycle support (ALP-10), requested for potential adoption by the US Department of Defence, and signature of MOUs with Japanese industry (SJAC) for future integration efforts. These developments mark a crucial step towards widespread adoption, highlighting the S-Series’ growing influence and importance in international aerospace and defence communities.
