Changes to Canyon/Colorado |

General Motors announced official changes for the Chevrolet Colorado and the GMC Canyon that will be introduced in 2007.
These changes include changes in color, removing Superior Blue and Cherry Red metallics and replacing them with Pace Blue, Imperial Blue Metallic and Deep Ruby Metallic.
Also changing are the motors, the 2.8L I-4 will be replaced with a 2.9L I-4 boasting 185 Horsepower, a 10 horsepower increase over the 2.8 I-4 which produced 175 hp. The 3.5L I-5 will be replaced with a 3.7L I-5 boasting 242 horsepower, up from the 220 horsepower that the 3.5L I-5 offered.
Also being removed are the 17x8" wheels, they will be replaced with 15x7" wheels with a chrome finish, and the 100amp alternator will be replaced with a 125amp alternator.
A new factory accessory is being added in 2007 also. Tubular assisting steps, in a grey finish will be available in special order 2006 Z85 4x4 models. |
